Baisemain shows no sign of courtesy, just crude rock n’roll.
By bringing a modern touch to their classical and hard rock roots, the band has developed a singular and raw garage sound of their own. Their music blends in elements ranging from Dire Straits, to Weezer, Arctic Monkeys and the Strokes, producing a fresh yet familiar musical architecture. Just as their live performances, their songs are characterised by deep and melancholic vocals, elaborate drum patterns and guitar riffs that are both energetic and catchy.
Formed in 2019, the band released their first album in 2022. Their second album is set to be released in septembre 2024. This second album is the result of close to two years of dedicated work and deep reflection. It dives into the common story of an ordinary man’s life and struggles. In there, hiding behind distorted guitar riffs and heavy drum fills, lies a sea of doubts and pain.
