Kurt Rosenwinkel compte parmi les guitaristes les plus remarquables du jazz actuel. Né en 1970 à Philadelphie, il a étudié à Boston au célèbre Berklee College, où des guitaristes comme Pat Metheny, John Scofield ou Wolfgang Muthspiel avaient déjà acquis avant lui la noble touche.
La formation All Star du quatuor est remarquable. Les quatre musiciens américains jouent à un niveau de classe mondiale:
Aaron Parks, piano: en plus de ses propres projets et enregistrements fantastiques, il a joué et enregistré avec, entre autres, Terence Blanchard, Christian Scott, Kendrick Scott, Gretchen Parlato, Ambrose Akinmusire, Joshua Redman...
