ASTRIFEROUS
Biographie
Hailing from Costa Rica, Astriferous have darkened the world with cosmic Death Metal putrefaction since 2018.
2019 and 2020 saw their first couple of demos begin to circulate the underground like a pulsating mass of sepulchre before their more refined MLP “The Lower Levels Of Sentience” spewed forth courtesy of Me Saco Un Ojo and Pulverised Records. A year later, in true underground form, we got a split 7”, with fellow Costa Ricans Bloodsoaked Necrovoid. After a couple years of silence 2023 was scorched by the debut full length album of Astriferous, the magnificent “Pulsations From The Black Orb” which retains all of the savagery of the demos with a more expansive, abyssal and unforgettably evil sound to it. Taking some of the gloom of 90s Finland and giving it that brutal Latin American touch, there is something very special about this entity.
