Aktarum
Biographie
The History of Aktarum begins in 2005 when Tom (ex : Nergal, Alasthor) and Dave (ex : Lint, Nergal, Inocculta) decided to create a motivate group more professional than what they ever had had before. They quickly found a drummer Jimmy (ex-Stone under the tree) and after several weeks of inquiries Alex (ex-Nergal) and J-F joined the group.
Making of their music a subtle blend of folkloric musical sounds with Celtics and Scandinavian influences and metal, Aktarum immerses you in a world of blood-thirsty but festive Trolls.
Month after month, the group accumulated dates throughout Wallonia (French-speaking part of Belgium) and shortly got more authority amongst Belgian Folk metal.
For intern reasons J-F left the group and the four musicians carry on, still waiting for a new guitarist.
Aktarum drew attention in 2007 by warranting a first part of the group “Ensiferum” and by playing at the Pagan fest II in Paris with Eluevetie and Skyforger
