Ossuary
Biographie
Ossuary formed in the frigid Wisconsin winter of 2015/2016. The band has produced two well-loved demos, Cremation Ritual and Supreme Degradation. On the heels of Supreme Degradation's release, the band did a small east coast tour with Tubal Cain, followed by Total Death Over Mexico 2020. After the onset of the pandemic, the band took an unexpected hiatus - after over 2 years of dormancy, the band has reemerged, most recently playing Fall From Grace fest in Milwaukee in Dec '22.
Ossuary is the manifestation of power through grief, misanthropy, and the total worship of death. Inspired by visceral loss and fueled by the agony of hopeless existence in a bleak world, the band has no need for self-indulgent displays of technicality - the proof is in the riffs. Ossuary is thick, blackened, and scathingly sluggish - a murky, hateful exhibition of death metal.
