Biographie
Sovereign is a death/thrash band formed in Oslo in 2018. A hybrid concoction of punishing death and hellish thrash, Sovereign opts for a calculated sonic sacrifice to the gods of death and thrash with no regard for modernity’s demand for sterility.
Sovereign has shared stages with acts such as Obliteration, Enslaved, Undergang, Venom, Gorgoroth, Kreator, Mayhem, and Asphyx and has played at festivals such as Inferno Metal Festival and Tones of Decay.
Sovereign’s debut album, Altered Realities, was released through the coveted Dark Descent Records on January 19th, 2024:
