Fleur de Feu offers an intense, spiritual journey of epic proportions that spans a wide breadth of psychoscopic sounds. An array of traditional instrumentation conveys meditative explorations of the divine, while remaining grounded in its core message – the cyclical nature of life.The collective's debut album was released in 2022 via One Little Independent avant-garde subsidiary Caliban Sounds, launched by punk pioneer Penny Rimbaud of Crass.Fleur de Feu’s new album was produced by Déhà (Wolvennest, La Muerte...) and chiefly inspired by writings by Owl woman, a Cheyenne medicine woman who lived in the US in the 19th century.
'Weep' will be released on February 28th 2025 via P.O.G.O. Records.The collective is: Teuk Henri (guitar), Déhà (bass), Raphël Rastelli (guitar & keys), Matthieu Safatly (cello & percussion), James De Backer (lapsteel), Dominique Van Cappellen-Waldock (voice, guitar loops), etc.
