Ohio Mark
Biographie
Antwerp/Ghent based Ohio Mark shrouds itself in a haze of guitars and noise. Erik Van Hoecke and Pieter De Cnudde reshape fading synth textures into shoegazy guitars and pounding post-punk drums, with Benjamin Caes completing the lineup soon afterwards.
The band surfaced in 2018 with their first single Lucid Lake, and went on to release two EPs in the following years: 'Exotism' (2019) — an exploration of the full spectrum of loudness — and critically acclaimed 'Whoever' (2022). Alongside a handful of singles and contributions to 'A Sentimental Mixtape', Vol. 1 & 2, these releases cemented the trio's place in the contemporary noise and shoegaze landscape.
Now, with their full album 'Off' ready for release, Ohio Mark is set to take the next step.
