Infecticide never stops shaking up French chanson with flair and psychoactive fervor. Complete artists, the three scoundrels use every tool that falls into their dirty hands to turn their baby into a nocturnal weapon with a sadistic bent, and the audience ends up kneeling before such mastery in the art of taking the piss.
What we have here is a precious trouple wandering through the picturesque landscapes of France, far from the tearful horizons where some try to resuscitate a new wave drowned in the saliva of a non-consensual mouth-to-mouth.
Here you sweat more than in a Zumba class, without neglecting the brain, bitten by a pen whose casual, caustic humor gently reminds us of our condition as human beings: “a crying mushroom, a little lump of fear…”
After the stunning “Chansons Tristes” released in 2014, and their second album “Poil de Cœur” in early 2016, their third relentless album “Finger Bueno,” released in 2020, is a true invitation to dance on the smoldering ashes of a world overturned. Even colder, even hotter.
