«Skål» [skaul] en suédois, ou «Santé !» chez nous, voilà un nom qui en dit long sur ce
groupe «FOLK METAL INSTRUMENTAL» belge (wallon) fondé en 2012 par Nico (guitare),
Martin (batterie), Vince (guitare/synthé) et Julien (basse). Forts de leurs expériences
individuelles au sein de différentes formations, très vite, les quatre vikings composent
un set et se produisent sur scène.
Influencés par des groupes tels que Ensiferum, Amon Amarth, Alestorm, etc., leurs
morceaux allient à la fois puissance, mélodie et originalité.
Fin 2013, ils décident d'enregistrer un premier titre au Noise Factory, «PIRATES OF THE
NORTH», titre qui rencontre un très grand succès auprès du public.
En 2015, ils enregistrent trois nouveaux morceaux pour sortir un EP 4 titres.
Enfin, en 2018, ils décident d'enregistrer un album entier de 13 titres, intitulé «Plug &
Drink», qu'ils sortent sous la forme inédite d'une clé USB décapsuleur.

«Skål» [skaul] in Swedish, or «Cheers!» in English, this is a name that says a lot about
this Belgian «INSTRUMENTAL FOLK METAL» band founded in 2012 by Nico (guitar),
Martin (drums), Vince (guitar/synth) and Julien (bass). Armed with their individual
experiences in different musical projects, the four Vikings quickly made up a set and
performed on stage.
Influenced by bands such as Ensiferum, Amon Amarth, Alestorm, etc., their songs
combine power, melody and originality.
At the end of 2013, they decided to record a first title at the Noise Factory, «PIRATES
OF THE NORTH», a title which was met with great success by the public.
In 2015, they recorded three new songs in order to release a four tracks EP.
Finally, in 2018, they decided to record an entire album of 13 tracks called «Plug &
Drink» which was released under the unique form of a bottle-opener USB stick!
