After Immanuels grandfather gave him his trumpet he started jazz trumpet at the academy of mechelen at 12y old. When his teacher showed him recordings of Chet Baker, he was deeply touched by the beauty and the sound of Chet.
In 2018 he met the new talented drummer from Amsterdam Tim Hennekes. Thanks to Tim Immanuel decided to go to the conservatory and what his hobby was became his lifestyle. Immanuel started at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles in 2019 where he studied with the magnificent Jean Paul Estievennart. In 2024 he met the amazing piano player Mathieu de Wit and admired his way of playing and his amazing swing feel.When Immanuel moved to the KCB he met the solid Chinese Bass player Lantian Xiao.
All the members of the quartet share their passion for jazz music and swing and focus on touching the listeners by their music.
