Biographie
Zach Person is an American, indie recording artist and guitarist based in Austin, Texas. Person appeared on the 15th season of American Idol in 2016, earning admiration from all of the celebrity judges, including Jennifer Lopez, who fondly stated, «He's from another time.» Person is an alumnus of the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation, and represented the Houston Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in 2017; this has afforded him the opportunity to share stages with blues legends such as Buddy Guy and Robert Cray. While touring the United States and Canada in 2018, Person made special appearances at the Toronto International Film Festival and Amazon's AWS re:Invent. He later headlined numerous private events for Fairmont Hotels (US & Canada), Firefly Aerospace, GitHub, SXSW and AT&T, and played at Intersect Music Festival alongside Foo Fighters, Anderson Paak, Beck and HER in 2019. Person was recently signed and positioned as the flagship recording artist for BlackDenim Records, a new indie label with global reach. Blues legend Buddy Guy says about Zach: «What can I say, this young man is hot!»
