K-Pax does not copy SRV's songs note by note, they improvise a lot and let their own feeling and the feeling of the moment reign! They reinterpret in their own way the works of the master of the blues revival of the 80s Mr Stevie Ray Vaughan. Reinterpret... one's own feelings.... Is it swearing in church? For some it may be the case, but that K-Pax does it with respect and with great quality, that's for sure. Leader/guitarist Rudy De Marie discovered the vast universe of Blues at the age of 5. In 2006 he founded K-Pax Blues Band to honor SRV in his own way. For this, he brought in Marcus Weymaere (drums) who cut his teeth with King Mo and Phil Bee's Freedom, Bj Scott, Marc Ysaye Rtbf, Guy Swinnen band, among others. "Carlo Van Belleghem" (Stan Van Samang, Jan Debruijn, Shirley Johnson, Roland, Phil Bee's,...) will take care of the bass guitar.
